Meyer Design, Inc. is excited to announce our expanded geographic presence through the creation of ONE - a national alliance of design firms. Meyer Design, along with Partners by Design in Chicago, IL and Pollack Architecture in San Francisco, CA, created this alliance to better serve our national and global clients who want to continue to use the personalized service and one-on-one relationships they have formed with Meyer Design, Inc., but need the global reach of a larger firm.

 

Why?

We consistently hear from our clients that they repeatedly choose the Meyer Design team because of our commitment to understanding their individual needs, our successful completion of past projects, and the priority we place on client relationships. By strategically expanding our geographic footprint, we are now a single source for our clients' design needs and are better equipped to handle our clients' global needs from two perspectives: localized expertise and cost savings.  

 

How were design firms selected to be part of ONE?

The alliance is made up of like-minded firms from different regions of the country. Each firm is individually "best of class" in their own respective markets and shares a common approach and philosophy of delivering superior solutions paired with personalized customer service. Member firms were selected based upon our successful partnering on previous projects and recommendations from trusted real estate professionals throughout the country.

 

What does this mean to our national clients?

Meyer Design, Inc. is able to seamlessly handle any project throughout the country. We continue as your single point of contact throughout every stage of the design process; however, in geographic areas that are better served by other members of ONE, we will oversee and contract with a member firm for the code, permitting, and construction administration phases.

Have you created your company's Evacuation Plan?

 

In the past few weeks, we've seen extreme cases of weather on the East Coast.  In addition, the 10th anniversary of 9/11 reminds us of the need to react quickly in a crisis.  All of these scenarios may have you asking, "Do my employees know what to do and how to get out of our building in the case of an emergency?"

                

Meyer Design is working with many clients to create an Evacuation Plan for their company's location to ensure that employees know how to exit the building safely and where to go once outside the building. With a minimum investment, this plan becomes a vital part of each company's disaster plan.

In addition to all new hires receiving this, it is also used as associates move from one floor to another within the building. With over 1000 associates across 12 floors, this information is critical towards ensuring the success of the
